![]() "Socioeconomic Science and Transdisciplinarity: Lessons Learned along the Way" Abstract: Kathleen (Kathy) Halvorsen is University Professor of Natural Resource Policy and interim Associate Vice President for Research Development at Michigan Technological University. Her research focuses on the policy dimensions of climate mitigation and adaptation. She has also studied the team science dimensions of transdisciplinary scientific teamwork and taught international classes and workshops on team science best practices. Kathy is currently the Executive Director of the International Association for Society and Natural Resources (IASNR). The M. E.
