PRI Spring 2022 Methodology Workshop April 11, 2022 at 12:30 pm- 3:30 pm Dr. Yabiku is moderating a workshop titled: Using APIs for Population Research Data producers are increasingly providing API (Application Programming Interface) access to their data products. In this workshop, you’ll learn what APIs are and the benefits of using APIs for data access instead of the typical "click and download" approach. Presenters from the US Census Bureau and IPUMS will explain the capabilities of their APIs and how you can get started. You'll also learn how one researcher used APIs in their demographic research project. Hybrid event. Location 302 Pond. To go refreshments will be provided.
