After taking ten years to complete research and writing, SSRI co-fund Guangqing Chi recently published his book, “Spatial Regression Models for the Social Sciences” with co-author Jun Zhu. The book serves as a primer type of textbook for social scientists who would like a quick start to learning spatial regression methods.
These methods include exploratory spatial data analysis, methods dealing with spatial dependence and/or spatial heterogeneity, and spatio-temporal regression models. The book will also be useful for social scientists who are familiar with standard regression methods and desire to learn spatial regression models and methods.
This is Chi’s first published book. It can be purchased through SAGE Publishing, Amazon, and as an eBook on GooglePlay.
