Global Programs has revised evaluation criteria for their Faculty, Graduate, and Transformational travel grants applications, as well as introduced a new system for submitting application materials and trip reports. Applicants will now use Qualtrics, a popular survey program, to apply for travel grants.
“Coupled with the new Global Programs website, we think this will be much more user-friendly than the previous system, while offering improvements in data processing,” said Vlad Likholetov, Global Collaborations Manager and Travel Grants Coordinator.
For information on the new criteria, and links to the new application forms, please visit:
- Faculty Travel Grants — to support faculty travel related to internationalizing undergraduate courses in any discipline.
- Graduate Travel Grants — to support international travel by Penn State graduate students to present their scholarly work at international conferences or other major professional meetings outside the graduate student’s home country.
- Transformational Travel Grants — programs that are positioned to make substantial long-term international impact for the faculty member’s department, college, campus and/or the University.
Travel Grant applications for this round are due by 5 p.m. (EST) on Feb. 15 for travel to take place on or after April 1.
