The 4th annual graduate student Mini PAA is set for April 14, 2017 in the Living Center, Henderson Building. The event will likely cover several hours between 10.00am-2.30pm organized into discrete sessions/sections. We are looking for graduate students participants (i.e., the lead presenters on an accepted paper and/or poster at the PAA). We must know whether you would like to participate in this event ASAP, ideally before March 1. This due date is necessary as it will be very difficult to add people at a later date given the logistics of ordering/setting display boards, organizing paper sessions and other related logistical issues. This event is a great opportunity for graduate students to practice your talks in a friendly environment and to be able to do so well ahead of the actual conference should there be a need for tweaks and redesign. As with last year we are planning to have poster judges (so you will be guaranteed written feedback). Please let Stephen Matthews know if you are the presenting author of a paper that has been accepted and/or if you will be presenting a poster. Provide the title of the presentation, list of authors and affiliations and a PAA session number. The organizing committee this year is Tori Thomas, Travis Young and Daniel Ramirez. |
