The Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center (PRC) announced today a call for proposals for funding Penn State graduate student research that focuses on health and challenges faced by diverse and oppressed populations, with preference given to projects that develop or adapt an intervention to reduce systemic racism, or promote antiracist practices and culture. Funds in the amount of $300-$2000 may be requested to support research expenses. Graduate students requesting funding to support their dissertation work will be given priority. Students enrolled in any Penn State Ph.D. program are eligible to apply. The application deadline is August 21, 2020, and funding decisions will be made by September 10, 2020.
