The Child Maltreatment Solutions Network (CMSN) is hosting an event on April 12, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Zoom. This event, "Nurturing Healthy Futures: Promoting Effective Safe Care Plans for Substance-affected Infants and their Families,” will feature a presentation by Dr. Margaret Lloyd Sieger, who will share findings from her work regarding the implementation of safe care plans, along with additional speakers that will share examples of effective approaches being used to engage families in community-based safe care plans. Another event on April 12 will include a table at the HUB Lawn offering handouts, fun giveaways, and treats for those who stop by. Attendees will have the chance to plant pinwheels in the ground, serving as an opportunity for the Penn State community to show their support for child abuse awareness. |
