Led by PRI director and SSRI co-fund Jennifer Glick, a coalition from the Penn State Harrisburg State Data Center, PRI, and affiliated research centers and the demographic research training programs at Penn State, a new Penn State Strategic Initiative Grant was awarded to establish the Pennsylvania Population Network (PPN).
This network is designed to further enhance the relationship between these related research and training activities to leverage expertise to study and analyze data for community stakeholders so they can respond and plan for ongoing health challenges associated with population structure and change. This two-year award will provide unique interdisciplinary practical research experience for students and better position researchers for external funding support in cutting edge population science that has practical and applied implications for population health and well-being across Pennsylvania and around the world.
