Faculty and staff from all of SSRI's units recently gathered at the Hintz Family Alumni Center to celebrate major accomplishments of the year and to announce staff awards.
Elise Dreibelbis from the Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness was awarded the “Workplace Climate Award”. The award recognizes SSRI staff members whose activities and behaviors have fostered a workplace climate marked by civility, cooperation, integrity, and the pursuit of excellence.
Kelly Lingenfelter, Population Research Institute, received the “Innovation Award”. The award recognizes an SSRI staff member whose novel ideas, refined work procedures, and other innovative practices have advanced the activities and accomplishments of the unit, SSRI, and/or social science at Penn State.
The “Above and Beyond Award” was presented to Kassidy McElwee of the Child Maltreatment Solutions Network. The award recognizes SSRI staff members whose performance or accomplishments, in terms of both quality and quantity, have far exceeded expectations.
Lisa Ryan from the Population Research Institute received the “Diversity and Inclusion Award”. This is awarded to an SSRI staff member who has been successful in creating a culture of inclusivity and is committed to and accountable for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in all its forms.
